​Hey there, this is Pastor Jeff. I grew up in San Diego, California. Before Jesus saved me, my life was primarily consumed with playing baseball and surfing. But it was during my Junior year at San Diego State University that I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. It was a Wednesday night, November 30, 1977 at Calvary Chapel San Diego. After attending the San Diego School of Evangelism (1978-79), I was involved in a High School Youth Group at Calvary Chapel El Cajon, CA. In 1979 I met my future wife, Elizabeth. We married in 1980, and within a few years we were blessed with 2 daughters. After moving to Colorado, we started a home fellowship that eventually turned into Calvary Chapel Grand Junction in 1989. All I can say is, God is awesome! And He has done exceedingly abundantly above all that we could have ever asked for or thought possible. To Him be the glory, great things He has done.
